As a result of an awarded major EPCM project in Namibia, the client is seeking a motivated Lead Site Engineer to join on site project team on 6:2 roster
About the role
- Lead and oversee site engineering activities across civil, structural, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Provide strong safety leadership and ensure compliance with all HSE standards.
- Manage contractor performance, progress measurement, and interface coordination.
- Resolve technical and contractual issues with support from the client departments.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the client management on progress, performance, and commercial matters.
- Review and verify contractor claims, variations, and progress documentation.
- Drive quality assurance and ensure construction activities meet design and specification requirements.
About you
- 8+ years of relevant EPCM experience in site engineering roles.
- Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
- Strong technical knowledge in civil and structural engineering, particularly in remote or challenging environments.
- Experience in managing construction interfaces and resolving site issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with safety, quality, project controls, and administration teams.
