Job Summary
The Role:
As the Training and Development Manager, you will oversee all learning, development, and recreational activities for team members. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will support departmental leaders in implementing effective learning programs that enhance team performance and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
What’s in a Day’s Work?
- Create and manage an annual training calendar based on team needs and performance appraisal feedback.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and learning materials in alignment with company standards and local regulations.
- Coach department trainers to elevate their skills in delivering high-quality learning sessions.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure compliance with learning policies and development plans.
- Maintain accurate training records and evaluate program effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick Learning Measurement Model.
- Coordinate with HR to prepare and monitor the annual training budget, ensuring efficient resource use.
- Foster a learning culture within the organization, supporting personal and professional development across the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Learning and Development Management, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- Previous experience managing Learning and Development within a luxury 5-star hotel environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems; knowledge of the Kirkpatrick evaluation model is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in French is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive employee engagement.
