About the Role

A leading 5★ safari lodge in the Greater Kruger/Sabi Sand area is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lodge Manager to oversee all aspects of the guest experience and day-to-day lodge operations. This role demands exceptional leadership, polished communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to world-class guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with guests daily to ensure a warm, personalised, and memorable stay.
Oversee the delivery of exceptional guest service and experience across all departments.
Handle guest feedback professionally and turn insights into opportunities for continuous improvement.
Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and travel partners.
Ensure all activities, dining experiences, and guest touchpoints are executed to the highest standard.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior lodge management or guest services leadership role at a 5★ safari property.
Strong operational understanding of luxury lodge service delivery.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
High level of organisation, discipline, and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s licence and own transport essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior lodge management or guest services leadership role at a 5★ safari property (relevant formal education is not required)

Salary & Benefits

R25,000 CTC (Negotiable, dependent on experience), Live-in accommodation and meals included.
