Job Description

Minimum requirements: Purpose : To supervise all maintenance work at the processing plant to ensure plant availability within the legal and engineering framework for the efficient and safe processing and recovery of diamonds. Technical Skills: Thorough knowledge of diamond plants and DMS and Recovery circuits Understanding and applying engineering best practices Auditing skills In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the mining and processing sector Work under pressure and demonstrate a high level of managerial skills as a leader of a team of professionals and department heads Applicable financial, technical & legal skills& knowledge Knowledge of engineering standards Understanding /knowledge of maintenance process & principles Qualifications : Minimum: N6 plus/or trade test through a recognised Institution plus Code 8 Desired: As above plus government ticket plus ECSA Professional registration Experience : Minimum:5 years DMS and Recovery or separation technology environment experience of which at least 3 years on senior management level Desired: 8 years DMS and Recovery or separation technology environment experience of which at least 5 years will be on senior management level Consultant: Angie Botes – Dante Personnel Greenstone
