About the Role
Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman / Millwright to join their team in Kya Sands. The ideal candidate will be required to work shifts, with a strong focus on maintaining plant efficiency while ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to all breakdowns during or outside of normal working hours
- Conduct ongoing training with subordinates
- Coordinate all planned work for maintenance
- Ensure adherence to the OHSACT and company policies and procedures
- Maintain the scheduled maintenance system and all related documentation according to ISO9001
- Inspect all machinery, equipment, and buildings of the facility
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Reduce machine breakdown times
- Refurbish machinery
- Oversee tool changes, ensuring all tooling and equipment is properly maintained and available prior to tool changes
Requirements
- Qualified Maintenance Electrician and/or Maintenance Millwright with minimum 10 years practical experience
- AC and DC drive experience
- Basic PLC and electronic experience
- Valid driver’s license (LDV)
- Strong Managerial and Supervisory experience at Foreman level
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Qualified Maintenance Electrician and/or Maintenance Millwright with minimum 10 years practical experience
Salary & Benefits
R145 per hour with overtime and shift allowances
