Job Summary
The core purpose of the position
Leads a multidisciplinary team to optimize hospital utilization and care coordination. Oversees pre-authorization, case management, and post-discharge planning while ensuring risk management and regulatory compliance. Focuses on team development, workflow efficiency, and maintaining a patient-centred approach.
Job Requirements
Degree or Diploma as a Registered Nurse
Must be registered with SANC
Five years’ experience in managed health care (experience should cover more than one of the following fields, namely:
Pre Authorisation;
Case Management;
Care Coordination, and
Disease Management.
Two years must be in a supervisory role.
Key Competencies
Good communication skills
Computer literate in MS Office
Assertive and able to build trust and develop team members
Able to handle conflict
Function well under stress
Must have a driver’s license.
