About the Role
AtripleA recruitment & temps is seeking an experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join our client’s Retail Industry team. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Fisherman’s Deli, managing staff and customers, and maintaining high standards of inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Fisherman’s Deli is properly cared for
- Manage all staff and customers with respect
- Maintain accurate freezer map to correspond with physical stock
- Keep freezer and chiller doors always closed
- Print open purchase orders report
- Implement pallet receiving schedule accurately
- Only receive stock without an invoice
- Check and sign off on IBT’s and fresh fish deliveries
- Label non-stock items (oysters, mussels, clams, exotic cheese) with customer name and salesperson’s order details
- Ensure received products have at least 3 weeks shelf life when receiving cheese
- Adhere to airport collection procedures
- Print GRN summary
- Reconcile all receipts against the summary report
- Sign off on GRN summary if correct
- Send email to Operations Managers and Buyer with reasons and corrective actions for any missing supplies
Requirements
- Matric and fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Night Shift Supervisor
- Reside in Randburg area or within a 25km radius
- Computer Literate and able to use own initiative
- Willing to work independently and be punctual
Qualifications
- Completed Matric Certificate
- Relevant retail management experience
