Job Summary
Full-time | Remote | 9:00AM 5:30PM UK Time Our client is on a mission to shape the future of recruitment by backing entrepreneurial talent and acquiring high-potential agencies. They`re looking for a confident, commercially-savvy communicator to join their team and help identify, engage, and nurture both future founders and acquisition prospects in the UK recruitment space. You`ll be the first point of contact for experienced recruiters who may one day launch their own businesses. Key responsibilities: Sourcing potential recruitment entrepreneurs using LinkedIn and other platforms Reaching out, building rapport, and starting meaningful conversations Nurturing long-term relationships sometimes over 6 months until leads are ready to take action Qualifying prospects before handing over to the Direct Manager Setting up high-quality discovery meetings for the internal team You`ll also support strategic growth through M&A activity by connecting with boutique recruitment agencies open to acquisition. What you`ll do: Identify and connect with small (typically 45 person) agencies considering their next move Build trust with founders, understand their long-term goals, and explore acquisition opportunities Generate and nurture pipeline conversations that could lead to strategic deals Work independently while keeping leadership in the loop on key developments Candidate Profile: A confident, emotionally intelligent communicator who builds rapport with ease Experienced in recruitment (ideally 360) or strong B2B sales/business development Comfortable speaking with senior recruiters, founders, and decision-makers A natural relationship builder who thrives on long-term engagementnot just quick wins Familiar with the UK recruitment landscape (experience selling to or working in agencies is a plus) A self-starter with strong commercial awareness and a consultative, strategic mindset Able to manage a balance of outreach, nurturing, and pipeline development
