Requirements:

Degree in Metallurgy from a recognized institution (or related production plant experience) Valid Code 8 Drivers License 5 years experience in DMS and Recovery or separation technology, with 3 years in senior management Degree in Metallurgy or related discipline plus Management Degree 8 years experience in DMS and Recovery or separation technology, with 5 years in senior management Implement and manage the Processing Strategy for plant operations Manage optimal plant utilization to meet production and efficiency goals Develop and implement the production budget Manage and control process expenses effectively Oversee and ensure alignment of production throughput with targets Submit and motivate capital and strategic expenditure to the Plant Manager Ensure that all work instructions are documented, maintained, and executed per policy Oversee process quality control to ensure product standards Compile and submit operational reports to the Plant Manager Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to Consulmet and Client policies/procedures Implement and monitor Health, Safety and Security compliance Maintain and foster Client relations Lead Human Resource Development to improve performance and promote succession planning, training, and skills transfer to team members Manage discipline in the workplace (absenteeism, time management, misconduct, etc.) Maintain a positive and productive workplace climate Comply with Safety, Health, Security, and Environmental (SHSE) standards Possess thorough knowledge of diamond processing, especially DMS and Recovery circuits Exhibit strong leadership and management capabilities Display solid technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Demonstrate cognitive ability to make strategic, data-driven decisions Apply financial, technical, and legal knowledge effectively in operations Knowledge and application of metallurgical best practices and standards Competent in computer and MS Office tools Demonstrate effective coaching skills and promote teamwork Works well under pressure and leads a team of professionals and department heads Consultant: Jessie Gomes – Dante Personnel Greenstone
