Job Summary
Job Responsibilities – Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to promote a quality-focused culture. – Conduct first-pass quality assurance for in-progress features, ensuring they meet specifications and identifying potential bugs. – Develop detailed test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing. – Track and analyze quality metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts, to assess product quality and improve testing processes. – Build, maintain, and enhance test harnesses and scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency. – Identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle. – Define, document, and execute diverse test cases to ensure comprehensive platform coverage. – Conduct regular regression testing to maintain consistent product quality across releases. – As well as above, any other duties given by management Qualifications and Experience – Proficiency with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit). – Experience with web performance testing and mobile device testing. – Strong understanding of API testing, including frameworks for web services and API validation. – Competency in object-oriented programming, particularly with Java. – Hands-on experience in both manual and exploratory testing within web application environments. – Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, or similar platforms – Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, especially Agile methodologies. – Demonstrated ability to perform both automation and manual testing. – Previous work experience with Agile development teams. – Strong familiarity with web and mobile application testing. – Proven track record of improving release processes. – Ability to create comprehensive and clear documentation for testing processes and outcomes Additional

– Experience working with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus. – Prior experience in the payments industry environment is highly desirable
