About the Role

Our client in the Insurance industry is seeking an experienced Regional Manager: Financial Planning services to lead their regional team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing sales strategies, and managing a team of Sales Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective business sales strategies

• Provide input on sales policies and procedures

• Recruit Sales Managers that meet FAIS requirements

• Support of Sales Managers and para planners

• Oversee sales team to meet the production targets

• Implement and maintain sales strategic plan for region, to ensure that region meets its set target, i.e. in terms of Annual Premium Income (API) and policy count and product mix

• Manage and maintain budget to meet sales targets

• Oversee recruitment, development and maintenance of distribution channels

• Oversee the training and development of Sales Manager

• Provide guidance and advice to Sales Managers

• Market research

• Develop a strategic plan to identify potentially new markets

• Focus on relationship management with various stakeholders

• Conduct research and develop marketing plans

• Achievement of targets

• Oversee the management of business retention at sales level

• Provide input in Sales meeting

• Produce sales progress report

• Market Intelligence & reporting

• Prepare reports and presentations
