About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager to lead our luxury private island property in the Seychelles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences in a remote, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction
- Manage, and inspire a diverse team across all departments
- Maintain and uphold luxury service standards and brand values
- Drive team performance through training, mentoring, and development initiatives
- Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns in a professional and proactive manner
- Work closely with department heads to ensure smooth coordination and communication
- Monitor budgets, costs, and overall financial performance in collaboration with the finance team
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar senior hospitality management role within an ultra-luxury property
- Proven remote island or hardship location experience is essential
- Pre-opening experience is a must
- Strong rooms division background (candidates from an F&B background will not be considered)
- Fluent in English and at least two additional languages, one of which must be German
- Additional languages such as Swiss German or Russian are highly advantageous
