About the Role
Join our esteemed 5-star hotel in Stellenbosch as a Restaurant Hostess, where you’ll be part of an award-winning team that offers sublime luxury and world-class standards. As a fine dining restaurant hostess, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences during lunch and dinner service.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookings for guests
- Welcoming and seating of guests
- Wine sales
- Attending to customers seated in the restaurant or within the hotel
- Online bookings and table reservations
- Daily cash-up and revenue summaries
- Office admin
- Liaising with the head chef, front office team, and management
Requirements
- Matric plus a tertiary qualification in hospitality/hotel management
- Previous experience within a fine dining environment is absolutely essential
- Passionate about fine cuisine and wines to promote specialty dishes and signature wines
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Own transport is ESSENTIAL
