About the Role
Our prestige client is seeking a Scrum Master that leads and facilitates the Software and QA Engineer teams with collaboration to achieve solution creations that meets deadlines within the Scrum framework, values and practices. The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader and help teams become self-reliant and stay aligned with scrum processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performance team by facilitating problem-solving and empowering the team through Agile coaching, support and presence.
- Guide and improve the team output through application of scrum methodologies.
- Support the team and act as a buffer to outside interference to ensure team autonomy is maintained.
- Supervise team communication and ensure that hindrances are removed for the team to jointly reach the objectives of a sprint or of the project.
- Collaborate with product owners and develop teams/hybrid team on sprint planning, facilitation process and ceremonies, etc.
- Ensure that team is productive and is focused on project activities.
- Ensure team is highly motivated to cope with pressures.
- Conduct daily stand-ups to enhance transparency and assess progress toward the sprint goal.
- Lead weekly reflections, conduct root cause analysis of product bugs/issues to prevent recurrence.
- Resolve conflict within the team or between the team and the Product Owner to ensure that team stays focused on project activities.
- Collaborate with hybrid teams on sprint planning, processes and ceremonies.
- Facilitate sprint planning meetings.
- Tool maintenance and reporting.
- Conduct retrospectives after each sprint to identify areas for improvement of future sprints
- Ensure team understands Agile methodology and DevOps practices/principles.
- Ensure that the right tools are available to the team to effectively perform their duties.
- Facilitate cooperation and collaboration amongst teams across all platforms.
- Coach team constantly to ensure best practice adoption.
- Balance the cost of changing course with the benefits of efficiency.
- Assist the team to improve their workflow.
- Collate and write reports.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant compliance and governance framework.
- Manage all risks and related complexities within the process.
Requirements
- 3 years’ IT project management background
- Exposure to Scrum/SAFe methodology
- 2+ Data Warehouse Experience
- 3+ years Data analysis experience
- Experience in project reporting
Qualifications
- IT Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Information Technology / Software Engineering
