Our client is on a mission to reinvent how financial technology is built, scaled, and delivered. They are looking for a Senior Java & C# Developer to lead the charge in evolving enterprise platforms from legacy .NET systems to modern Java-based architectures.

What You’ll Do

• Lead backend development using C# / .NET and Java / J2EE, with a focus on migrating legacy systems
• Architect and implement scalable, enterprise-grade financial solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and UK-based clients to align technical solutions with business goals
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, and best practices for clean, maintainable code
• Mentor and support junior developers within a high-performing engineering team
• Navigate cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) to ensure scalable, secure deployments

What You Bring

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in both C# / .NET and Java / J2EE
• Strong experience with SQL and working with large datasets
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (essential)
• 5+ years’ professional development experience in backend systems
• Strong consulting background or experience working in client-facing environments
• Cloud certifications (advantageous but not required)
