About the Role
Telebest is seeking a Senior Manager in IT and Cyber Security to lead our client’s information security efforts in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security policies, managing security breaches, and providing strategic inputs to the business unit strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic inputs to the strategy of the business unit and manage the output of the centre to ensure the implementation of the business unit balance score card initiatives.
- Establish and maintain the enterprise vision, strategy, and security program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
- Perform security assessments on the acquisitions of technology products, tools, and services.
- Develop contingency plans and manage security breaches.
- Partner with enterprise architects, infrastructure, and applications teams to ensure that technologies are developed and maintained according to security policies and guidelines.
- Build and maintain positive and value-adding relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and evaluate performance barriers and success to continuously improve on service delivery.
- Provide leadership and direction for the centre and manage team performance to drive productivity.
- Contribute to transformation and culture plans.
- Compile the centre budget and contribute to the development of the business units budget.
- Manage supply chain processes.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of a NQF level 7 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
- CCISO, CISA, CISM CISSP or any other security-related certification.
- 10+ years IT Security or Cybersecurity experience.
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience (a must).
- 5 years of managerial experience.
