About the Role
Our client, Telebest, is seeking a Senior Manager in IT and Cyber Security based in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security and management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective information security policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic inputs to the strategy of the business unit and manage the output of the centre to ensure the implementation of the business unit balance score card initiatives.
- Establish and maintain the enterprise vision, strategy, and security program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
- Perform security assessments on the acquisitions of technology products, tools, and services.
- Develop contingency plans and manage security breaches.
- Partner with enterprise architects, infrastructure, and applications teams to ensure that technologies are developed and maintained according to security policies and guidelines.
- Build and maintain positive and value-adding relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and evaluate performance barriers and success to continuously improve on service delivery.
- Provide leadership and direction for the centre and manage team performance to drive productivity.
- Contribute to transformation and culture plans.
- Compile the centre budget and contribute to the development of the business units budget.
- Manage supply chain processes.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of a NQF level 7 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
- CCISO, CISA, CISM CISSP or any other security related certification.
- 10+ years IT Security or Cybersecurity experience.
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience (a must).
- 5 years of managerial experience.
