Job Summary
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Architecture
- Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in design production
- Understand the importance of multi-disciplinary design engagement (architecture, structural, MEP, FLS, ICT/AV, security, BOH, interior design, etc.).
- Wide experience in International Building Codes and regulations (NFPA, IPC, Eurocode, British Standards, ASHRAE, etc.)
- Previous experience in GCC countries, especially UAE and Qatar will be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Update concept drawings, refine BOQ, and review as-built drawings for accuracy
- Facilitate site and coordination meetings with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication
- Lead technical meetings and manage design coordination in Revit
- Assess building needs, advise on feasibility, and present design proposals
- Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and CAD for efficient design and issue resolution
- Develop cost estimates, conduct value engineering, and control material quality
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications with a focus on architectural elements
- Ensure adherence to standards, codes, and manage deviation approvals
- Oversee site activities, guiding subcontractors and performing quality checks
- Select finishes, materials, and prepare tender documents for procurement
- Manage site operations, QA/QC compliance, and resolve technical issues
- Take responsibility for project completion, handover, and client presentations
- Maintain documentation, lead team training, and provide project updates
- Build strong relationships with clients, operators, and the construction team
