About the Role
A well-known Inbound DMC is seeking a Senior Travel Designer based in either Cape Town or Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and completing the booking confirmation process, delivering exceptional service to stakeholders, and strengthening partnerships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and complete booking confirmation process
- Provide continuous communication and excellent service delivery to the Operations Specialist at all times
- Strengthen the bond and partnership with stakeholders through effective communication and exceptional service
- Attend ad hoc familiarization trips with operation specialist
- Maintain in-depth supplier knowledge to maximize mutually beneficial relationships with AP partners
- Ensure accuracy and financial health of bookings
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism / hospitality
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in handling customer relationships and developing/promoting product and building journeys in the inbound travel industry
- In-depth knowledge of Southern and East Africa
- Working knowledge of TourPlan and WETU or similar booking/operating system
