Your New Role:
Ou client, a prestigious Top 30 audit and accounting firm in the UK, renowned for their expertise in providing tailored financial services to clients in the parks and leisure industry. They are on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior/Semi-Senior Accounts Prep to join their team remotely based in South-Afrcia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts and tax computations, as well as monthly management accounts and VAT returns. You will play a critical role in managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate and compliant.
What Youll Do:
- Prepare comprehensive year-end accounts and tax computations, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards.
- Compile timely and accurate monthly management accounts and VAT returns for our valued clients in the parks and leisure sector.
- Utilize CaseWare for accounts preparation to streamline processes and ensure high-quality output.
- Maintain meticulous records, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights that support decision-making.
- Analyze complex data.
- Work collaboratively with our experienced team to manage a backlog of accounts, assisting in the consolidation of accounts for various clients.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts preparation and bookkeeping, within a practice/accounting firm environment.
- Proficient in CaseWare for accounts preparation, with a solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
