Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 1 – 10 years of experience in technical specification writing or engineering design, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Languages: Fluent in Afrikaans.
• Ideal age range for candidates: 23–32 years.

Beneficial requirements:

• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of technical specification standards and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in technical writing and document management systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate them into clear specifications.
• Familiarity with software tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.

• Personal Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop detailed technical specifications for engineering systems and projects.
• Review and evaluate technical documents to ensure they meet client and industry requirements.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to define project specifications and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate the integration of technical specifications into the project design and development process.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements.
