Job Description

VIDEOGRAPHER / DIGITAL CONTENT PRODUCER and VISUAL STORY TELLER A leading field guide and conservation training organization, is looking for an organized, creative, and digitally savvy Videographer to join our Marketing team. This role is for someone who can capture the magic of the bush, tell authentic conservation stories, and translate real moments into compelling visual content that inspires and engages audiences across digital platforms. You will work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to plan, film, and edit high quality video and photographic content that reflects the brand, our values; and the life-changing experiences we offer. Your work will set the tone for our online presence and help distinguish in a highly competitive space. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize and brainstorm creative video ideas aligned with marketing objectives Plan, film, and edit video content for use across websites, social media platforms, and digital campaigns Develop and present creative concepts and storyboards Execute full post-production workflows, including reviewing footage, rough cuts, sound mixing, colour correction, motion graphics, and final edits using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects Create multiple content outputs from a single shoot (e.g. reels, shorts, clips, long-form videos, stories) Capture both video and still photography content, including editing and postprocessing images Film on location in remote bush environments and at our campuses Record and edit voice-overs where required Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to ensure brand alignment Adapt content style to suit different platforms, audiences, and brand needs Manage project archiving, file organization, and secure backups upon completion Stay current with industry trends, tools, and platforms to keep content fresh and competitive Assist in recruiting and managing a media intern for short-term projects when required Support the setup and maintenance of a production and editing workflow for recording lectures and content. Skills & Attributes Strong visual storytelling ability with a creative, solutions-focused mindset Excellent photography and videography skills, including proficiency with camera equipment High level of computer literacy and technical competence Experience with sound recording and mixing Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects Physically fit and able to work long hours when required Comfortable creating live content, stories, and real-time social media material Willingness and ability to live and work in remote locations on a four-week operational cycle Experience & Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Film, Video, Media, or a related field or equivalent practical experience Social media and digital content creation experience Based in Hoedspruit or willing to relocate Additional Information Salary: Market-related, based on experience and demonstrated skill during the interview process Please Note – While all applications are valuable, well reach out directly to candidates who best meet the clients requirements.
