About the Role
iqx, the Technology Division of iqbusiness South Africa, is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular and Python to join our team in Stellenbosch. This is a full-time onsite role where you will work on developing and maintaining modern web applications, bridging the gap between highly interactive frontends and robust backends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using Angular 18 and above
- Design and implement robust backend systems using Python
- Bridge the gap between frontend and backend development to create seamless user experiences
- Solve complex algorithmic and spatial challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
- Strong mathematical foundation
- Formal computer science background
- 3 to 5 years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong frontend expertise, specifically with Angular 18 and above
- Proven backend development and API integration experience using Python
- High mathematical capability for algorithm design and analytical problem-solving
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
