About Gradlinc Gradlinc is a student-focused platform connecting graduates and students to career opportunities, employers, and skills development pathways. As we scale our student and employer base, we are looking for motivated, high-potential students to join our sales team and gain hands-on commercial experience. Role Overview The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern is an entry-level role designed for a driven student who wants to build foundational skills in sales, business development, and customer engagement. The intern will support Gradlinc’s growth by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective employer partners and assisting the sales team with pipeline development. This role is ideal for a student interested in sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, or business development, and provides real exposure to a fast-growing startup environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting · Research and identify potential employer partners aligned with Gradlinc’s offerings · Build and maintain lead lists using CRM tools and internal databases · Segment and qualify leads based on predefined criteria Outreach & Engagement · Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone (where applicable) · Craft personalised outreach messages under guidance from the sales team · Follow up with prospects to drive engagement and interest Sales Support · Schedule discovery calls and meetings for senior sales team members · Prepare basic briefing notes on prospects ahead of meetings · Update and maintain accurate records Market & Customer Insights · Gather feedback from prospects on needs, challenges, and objections · Identify common trends and insights to inform sales and product strategy · Support small research tasks related to competitors or market segments Learning & Development · Participate in sales training, coaching sessions, and team meetings · Learn core sales concepts such as lead qualification, value propositions, and sales funnels · Take ownership of performance targets appropriate to an intern role Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Requirements · Currently studying towards or recently completed a qualification in: o Business, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or a related field.
