BASIC SALARY : R6500
START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Successfully completed NQF 2/3 Production technology
- Knowledge of HACCP Plan for glass and Bib filling – ISOPH02
- Knowledge of the CCPs including Glass Particles, Integrity Testing, Ozone Treatment, Chemical Residue
- Previous experience in similar environment preferable
DUTIES:
- Operating Activities
De-palletizing:
- Pre-inspects pallets of incoming bottles (virgin bottles) according to standard operating procedures and specifications
- Packs virgin bottles carefully onto conveyer belt, ensuring limited glass breakages
- Records glass breakages and any glass defects (non-conformances)
- Disposes virgin bottles that do not meet standard specifications into disposal bin
Palletizing:
- Ensure pallets are well wrapped according to standard operating procedures with good stretch and limited carton damage
- Ensures correct pallet identification is applied and marked on QC documents and according to the Pallet Configuration Form
- Identifies potential problem areas and informs the QC and the Shift Supervisor of non-conformances or potential non-conformances
- Quality Management System
- Ensures all production records are completed as per quality control record pack
- Adheres to QMS standards and procedures
- Follows QMS protocol as described by QMS procedures
- Adheres to the set GMP protocol
- Attends training courses when required
- Health, Safety and Housekeeping
- Checks CCPs including Glass Particles, Integrity Testing, Ozone Treatment, Chemical Residue
- Ensures HACCP principles are adhered to and participates in annual HACCP training
- Adheres to protective clothing policy
- Adheres to company and statutory Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Works closely with the safety representative to ensure adherence to safe work practices
- Ensures that all equipment, tools etc. provided by the employer are safe and well maintained
- Ensures housekeeping is kept in order and meets required standards and all areas of responsibility are clean and neat
HOURS:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 – 17:00
