About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality/Food Safety Systems Officer to join our team at PAR EXCELLANCE in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, training, and maintaining our quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QMS/ISO 9001:2015
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Provide training on risk management, safety, and quality systems
• Maintain documentation control and report writing for nutritional foods/animal feeds processing and packing plant
• Ensure all Risk/Health/Safety and 20 Keys training is conducted timeously
• Control and maintain work instructions, security, data security, Master Cleaning Schedule, pest control, GHP, deep cleaning programmes, non-conformances, complaints, registers, RCA, CAPA, customer care, and monthly reports

Requirements

• Afrikaans & English language proficiency (Gr12/ND/BTech/BTech Food Science)
• 7-10 years of experience in ISO 9001/14 000/18 000/22 000/45 000/GMP/HACCP/Food Safety/Risk/20 Keys management systems/SABS audit compliance
• Personal/professional integrity, multiskilled, willing to learn, and able to work under pressure
• Committed to compliance with industry standards and regulations

Qualifications

• Formal education in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Quality Management)
