About the Role

A reputable manufacturing business is seeking to appoint an experienced Quality Controller to support their quality assurance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production documentation, overseeing gauge control, and ensuring compliance with internal quality systems in line with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control all production related documentation.
  • Issue and maintain all tooling drawings within the company.
  • Issue and authorise component drawings for the manufacturing of components as per supplied customer drawings.
  • Maintain a customer drawing register for all customers.
  • Participate in reviewing feasibility study documents.
  • Issue of Job set up verification and inspection sheets to production ensuring these are correct and updated when necessary.
  • Responsible for doing and signing off verification after every set up (Change Over) and verification.
  • Responsible for performing daily checks/verifications on all parts being produced.
  • Ensure quality systems are being maintained on Shop Floors.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Quality Management or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • At least 3 years experience in a production or quality environment.
  • At least 4 years experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits (system, process and product).
  • Sound knowledge of the IATF Quality System.
  • Problem Solving Techniques.
  • Customer Specification Requirements.
  • Experience in MSA, FMEA and Control Plans, PPAP, Capability Studies, APQP, SPC.
