<p><strong>Wine Estate</strong> in the <strong>Helderberg Mountain</strong> near <strong>Stellenbosch</strong> is looking for a <strong>Senior Floor Manager.</strong></p><p>The candidate <span style="color:black;">should be </span><strong><span style="color:black;">well-spoken, well-presented</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> and </span><strong><span style="color:black;">passionate </span></strong><span style="color:black;">about hospitality, as well as be </span><strong><span style="color:black;">disciplined, hardworking, technically</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> focused and </span><strong><span style="color:black;">task orientated</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> who can work at a </span><strong><span style="color:black;">high pace </span></strong><span style="color:black;">in a predictable manner with </span><strong><span style="color:black;">great attention to detail</span></strong><span style="color:black;">.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">You will be responsible for </span><strong><span style="color:black;">creating </span></strong><span style="color:black;">and</span><strong><span style="color:black;"> implementing</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> a continuous waiter </span><strong><span style="color:black;">training schedule</span></strong><span style="color:black;">, as well as </span><strong><span style="color:black;">identifying </span></strong><span style="color:black;">and </span><strong><span style="color:black;">implementing</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> important </span><strong><span style="color:black;">restaurant </span></strong><span style="color:black;">and</span><strong><span style="color:black;"> service </span></strong><span style="color:black;">procedures.</span></p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p>Assist in all areas where needed</p><p>Checking that all duties have been completed by floor staff.</p><p>Conduct staff performance evaluations</p><p>Daily Cash-up</p><p>Deal with customers, compliments and complaints, follow up etc.</p><p>Implement and follow the rules of the company</p><p>Maintain and sustain top service levels</p><p>Maintain dress code standards</p><p>Manage a large staff complement</p><p>Opening and closing duties</p><p>Present a positive image of the company</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>Grade 12</p><p>Post-matric qualification is advantageous</p><p>At least 3 years of senior experience in a high-end restaurant environment</p><p>Good knowledge of duties and procedures in a restaurant environment.</p><p>Computer knowledge</p><p>Knowledge of restaurant software</p><p>Experience in large restaurants is beneficial</p><p>Must have fine-dining / high end restaurant experience</p><p>Excellent wine knowledge will be an advantage</p><p> </p>
