About the Role
Our client, a Stellenbosch-based technology company, is seeking a talented Software Developer to join their team. They design and build digital solutions across Africa to enable more productive societies. As a key member of the development team, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative software solutions that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software applications using Java and PostgreSQL
- Design and implement databases to store and manage data efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant programming experience (any language, ideally Java)
- Strong SQL experience, including strong data processing skills
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is an advantage
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology will be counted in favor of the applicant
