Thabazimbi: Blaster (Mining – Hard Rock)

GENERAL DUTIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Plan, schedule, and supervise drilling and blasting operations in accordance with mine production targets. Ensure proper drilling and blasting techniques are applied to achieve optimal fragmentation and minimize environmental impact. Monitor and control explosive usage, storage, and handling in line with regulatory and company safety standards. Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, and company-specific regulations regarding blasting operations. REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 Minimum Surface Blasting Certificate 5 years of experience in opencast hard-rock mining blasting operations Valid Code 10 Drivers Licence The successful candidate will be required to pass a medical assessment.
