About the Role
Ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems essential for the packing plant production processes. As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency to effectively contribute to our organization’s success while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, valves, and gauges.
- Diagnose faults or issues in instrumentation and control systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Configure, program, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Ensure proper installation of control systems, wiring, and components according to technical specifications and schematics.
- Train operators and other team members on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation/Automation, Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within manufacturing
- Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act
