Job Summary
Responsibilities Collect and analyze geological and geophysical data Conduct seismic interpretation and mapping Apply geophysical data and techniques to oil and gas discovery Develop models to predict the potential for oil and gas under the earths surface Work with teams to plan drilling efforts based on interpretation of data Present findings to company executives and team members Maintain knowledge of current industry methods and tools Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Qualifications Proven work experience as a Geophysicist in oil and gas industry Strong understanding of geological and geophysical concepts Proficient in geophysical software Excellent data interpretation skills Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in teams BSc degree in Geophysics, Geology or related field MSc or PhD in Geophysics is preferred Should you not receive a response within 10 working days, please consider your application as unsuccessful
