Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of farm operations, including livestock, game, and land maintenance.
  
• Oversee staff and contractors, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and safely.
  
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure such as fencing, water systems, roads, and equipment.
  
• Support wildlife and habitat management programs, including anti-poaching initiatives, veld management, and conservation projects.
  
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  
• Assist with record-keeping and reporting on farm activities and stock levels.
  
• Coordinate logistics for feed, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  
• Provide support to management with special projects and seasonal operations.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Agriculture, Conservation, Wildlife Management, or related field (preferred but not essential with practical experience).
  
• Minimum 12 years experience in farm, game reserve, or wildlife estate management.
  
• Strong practical skills in land and infrastructure maintenance (fencing, roads, water systems).
  
• Knowledge of game and livestock handling an advantage.
  
• Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and tools.
  
• Valid drivers license (PDP advantageous).
  
• Computer literacy for record-keeping and reporting.
  
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
