About the Role
Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking a skilled Junior Metallurgist to join our team in Thabazimbi. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in metallurgical engineering and experience in chrome recovery plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operations of our PGM and Chrome Recovery plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects and process optimization
- Write reports and perform data analysis
- Lead meetings and collaborate with teams
- Conduct plant processing and quality control
- Participate in metallurgical plant projects
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in PGM and Chrome recovery plants
- Post-graduate qualifications in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering may be advantageous
- Plant processing knowledge and experience in Flotation and Chrome Recovery Plants is highly recommended
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- B-Tech. Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
