About the Role
A dynamic organisation is seeking a Credit Control Manager to oversee operations in Tzaneen, Limpopo, driving efficiencies and leading a team focused on achieving optimal cash flow and client account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full credit control function across departments
- Allocate and monitor daily tasks to ensure team productivity and target achievement
- Analyse and report on departmental performance, including statistics and key targets
- Oversee updates and changes to client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain and manage pricing structures within internal systems
- Act as a key liaison between branches, agents, and management teams
- Compile detailed information packs for investigations relating to agents and branches
- Manage batch processing and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Oversee refund processes and ensure proper controls before payments are released
- Assist Finance and Operations with journals and related accounting entries
- Generate and build reports to support decision-making
- Manage communication platforms, including SMS-based client communication tools
- Take ownership of ad hoc projects and operational improvements
- Travel to branches when required and provide on-site support
- Be available for overtime during peak periods or critical deadlines
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- A Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field will be advantageous
- Minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role within a credit control or administrative environment
- Proven experience managing teams and overseeing multiple functions
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with systems such as iQ Retail, Sage, and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (reporting, data analysis)
