Job Description

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

  • A Bachelor’s degree Agriculture, B-Degree in Entomology, Agronomy or Horticulture.
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in production management or lean manufacturing would be advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or senior operations role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the agriculture
  • Proven experience in managing production processes, staff, and resources in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality control processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and act decisively in a fast-paced environment. In-depth understanding of production processes machinery, and operational best practices.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, procurement, and supply chain processes. Proficiency in production management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze production data and generate actionable insights to drive improvements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving production goals and maximizing efficiency. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Proactive and able to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
  • Able to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work well with other departments and senior leadership.
