About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Uitenhage, South Africa. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and system QA procedures and standards (30%)
Maintain QA records (e.g., Shopware) and ensure manufacturing data compliance
Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions
Review QA and inspection systems for efficiency and reliability
Enhance machine performance and process efficiency
Maintain document management systems and produce technical/managerial reports
Lead the Facilities Team, ensuring daily and unplanned tasks are completed
Operate within company controls and procedures
Identify and report risks or areas of concern
Ensure compliance with regulations to prevent wasteful expenditure

Requirements

Minimum: Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field (NQF 6)
Advantageous: Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field (NQF 7)
