About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and guest-focused Front of House Assistant for a luxury safari lodge based in Vaalwater. This role is ideal for a hospitality individual with a passion for guest service and front-office operations in a high-end lodge environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs
- Provide warm, professional, and personalised guest service
- Support front office administration and reservations
- Handle guest enquiries and requests efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and guest information
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Ensure front-of-house areas are kept neat and presentable
- Liaise with housekeeping, kitchen, and guiding teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a luxury lodge or hospitality environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and administrative abilities
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays
Computer literacy (PMS systems advantageous)
Strong attention to detail and guest-focused mindset
