About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head Guide to lead and mentor a team of field guides at our luxury safari lodge in Vaalwater. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while promoting conservation engagement and safe guiding practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage game drives, bush walks, vehicle and workshop operations
Coordinate incidents and provide first aid as needed
Train and mentor junior guides to ensure high-quality guiding operations
Oversee daily field guide operations and team management

Requirements

FGASA Level 2 & Trails Guide (essential)
ARH & Rifle Proficiency
First Aid Level 2
Drivers License & Pr-DP
Previous experience as Assistant Head Guide or Head Guide
