About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Coordinator to join our team in Wellington, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in travel or tourism and be eager to grow within a luxury travel environment. This is a junior support position with progressive responsibility based on performance and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting senior consultants with travel enquiries, quotations, and itinerary preparation
- Coordinating bookings, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations
- Preparing, checking, and issuing travel vouchers and related documentation
- Managing supplier communication, confirmations, and follow-ups
- Reviewing supplier invoices and assisting with payment preparation
- Managing all administrative tasks related to own quotes and bookings
- Maintaining accurate, well-organized booking records and documentation
- Ensuring all work aligns with company standards, processes, and timelines
Requirements
- 12 years experience in travel, tourism, reservations, or tour operations
- Diploma or qualification in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, or a related field
- Valid driver’s license
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
