Western Cape: Actuarial Analyst posted by Communicate Finance

Develop and maintain pricing models for short-term insurance products
Perform reserving and capital modeling
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and risk teams

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Minimum 2–3 years in short-term insurance or related actuarial roles
 
Qualifications:
Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (or progressing toward qualification)
Strong technical and analytical skills
 
Skills:
Proficiency in actuarial modeling and reserving techniques
Solid understanding of short-term insurance products and pricing
Advanced Excel skills; exposure to SQL, R, or Python is a plus
