About the Role

As a Senior Google Cloud AI/ML Data Engineer at Crayon Technologies Ltd, you will spearhead the design and development of AI/ML pipelines utilizing revolutionary tools such as Vertex AI. Your role will anchor around managing MLOps, leading the integration of various data systems, and collaborating cross-functionally to redefine campaign optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI/ML pipelines using Vertex AI for demand forecasting, performance prediction, audience targeting, and creative optimization
  • Lead data ingestion and processing of product feeds, business metrics, and market data using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub
  • Build and maintain BigQuery datasets, perform schema design, and manage feature engineering pipelines
  • Work closely with backend and frontend teams to expose ML endpoints via scalable APIs (Cloud Run FastAPI/Node.js)
  • Manage the full MLOps lifecycle including training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of models
  • Contribute to Terraform infrastructure modules for Vertex AI, BigQuery, IAM, Cloud Run, and Networking
  • Collaborate with digital marketing, product, and data teams to define campaign optimization rules and automation logic
  • Implement robust data governance, access control (IAM), secret management, and audit logging
  • Participate in architectural reviews, technical documentation, and performance optimization

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience on GCP with expertise in BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run
  • Strong DevOps/MLOps knowledge and CI/CD pipeline implementation on GCP
  • Proficiency in supervised learning, time-series forecasting, classification, and regression modeling
  • Experience with Python-based ML tools (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Strong SQL skills for BigQuery and transformation pipelines
  • Knowledge of Node.js and/or Python API development (FastAPI preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate across multi-functional teams
