Western Cape: Automation Test Analyst posted by Network Finance

You will play a key role in reducing manual testing efforts by implementing and maintaining automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Robot Framework. Collaboration is essential as you will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA professionals to validate that applications perform seamlessly across all scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests using BDD frameworks.
• Write test scenarios aligned with business requirements.
• Integrate and run tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Developers, Analysts, and QA teams to ensure quality.
• Analyse test results, log defects, and resolve issues.
• Stay current with automation tools and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and promote quality standards.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Relevant IT tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with automation frameworks, such as Cucumber, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
• Proven experience developing and executing automated API tests.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g. PractiTest) for test case management and reporting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Strong understanding of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
• Solid knowledge of version control systems.
• Working understanding of database systems.
• Experience with other testing tools such as JMeter.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and test automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for testing in cloud environments.
