About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at RareCruit. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a hot kitchen environment, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations, hygiene, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present dishes to the hotel’s quality standards
- Assist with menu preparation and daily mise en place
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with kitchen operations
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Hot Kitchen environment (essential)
- Ability to maintain high food standards and consistency
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, hygiene, and safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transport to and from the Southern Suburbs area
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent
