About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at GAP Consulting, a leading recruitment consultancy in South Africa. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for managing high-profile residential construction projects and ensuring their successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage upmarket residential construction projects from inception to completion
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in Construction Management
- National Diploma in Building (essential)
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying will be highly advantageous
- SACPCMP registration will be a strong advantage
- Proficient in MS Projects and CCS Candy
- Demonstrated experience within the upmarket residential construction sector will be beneficial
- Valid driver’s license and reliable own transport required
