Job Summary
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Sales visit to customers at job sites, business offices and institutional account locations to identify and create rental opportunities.
– Sales visit on key account administrative and management personnel in offices to ensure customer satisfaction.
– Handle customer service issues in the field and negotiate rental contracts.
– Handle customer sales objections and the ability to close on a rental deal.
– Develop a thorough understanding of the market conditions (eg. current customers, competitors, opportunities) for the assigned territory, develop and execute a strategy to achieve revenue goals.
– Work with Sales and budget forecasts.
– Conduct productive cold calling and prospecting activities.
– Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer and market share.
Skills and Experience:
– Competent in understanding and communicating product and technical information.
– Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/ technical developments.
– Significant technical application expertise to specify the best solution for the customer.
– Clear understanding of optimised territory management.
– Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills.
– Ability to cope with pressure and setbacks and learn to develop accordingly
– Ability to work as part of a team.
– Excellent verbal and written English & Afrikaans required
– Willing to travel and be on standby as and when required in the performance of their duties
Qualification:
– Bachelors degree in Engineering or other Technical or in relevant rental experience
– Minimum of 5 years working experience in technical solutions selling
– Confident and a good team player
– Passionate about Customer satisfaction
– Computer literate
– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Professional in all dealings
– In possession of a valid and clear driver`s license
