A well-established organisation based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong costing exposure, particularly within ABC costing and Bill of Materials (BOM) environments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing cost structures, supporting operational decision-making, and driving cost efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed cost analysis using Activity-Based Costing (ABC) methodologies
• Maintain and analyse Bills of Materials (BOM) and standard costing structures
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
• Collaborate closely with operations and production teams

Skills and Experience:

• Qualification: BCom
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ costing experience
• Proven exposure to ABC costing and BOM environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
