Job Summary
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric (or equivalent qualification)
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service / internal sales
- Advanced Excel skills – this will be tested on interview level
- Must have experience working on any ERP system
- Basic knowledge of export processes will be an advantage
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
- Strong analytical ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding professional written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to handle difficult situations and challenges professionally
DUTIES
- Reporting to the Customer Service Manager
- Draft quotes and assist walk-in customers
- Process cash sales
- Capture customer orders and prepare invoices
- Ensure that orders are dispatched within the specified deadlines
- Process orders for international clients and prepare documents for exporting of goods
- Follow up and manage production orders and import orders
- Follow up with customers on progress
- Processing of payments received for quotes
