About the Role
GAP Consulting, a leading recruitment consultancy in South Africa, is seeking an experienced and skilled Debtor’s Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing debt collections, ensuring timely payment, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage debt collections
- Verify debtor information
- Conduct thorough research on debtors
- Prepare and send out collection notices and correspondence
- Process payments and update records accordingly
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Debtor’s Clerk
- Tertiary Financial Qualification required
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting
- Proficiency in Accounting software essential
- Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required
- Contactable references and payslips required
Qualifications
- Completed tertiary financial qualification (such as BCom or BAfin)
