About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our team in Ireland. As a key member of our hospital’s emergency department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments, order investigations, and develop treatment plans for general medicine patients.
- Participate in daily ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, clinics, and on-call duties.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors (SHOs, interns), promoting education and collaboration.
- Maintain patient records and adhere to hospital policies, clinical governance, and audit initiatives.
Requirements
- Full registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Council of Ireland (IMC).
- Min. 2-5 years postgraduate experience, preferably in general medicine or a relevant specialty.
- Prior UK/Ireland experience is required.
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.
