Western Cape: Financial Manager – Manufacturing posted by Empire Recruitment

• Oversee all site-level financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Drive cost control initiatives and operational efficiency
• Manage month-end and year-end processes, ensuring timely submissions
• Liaise with the Financial Director and senior leadership on strategic financial matters
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls

Requirements

• BCom degree in Accounting or Finance (non-negotiable)
• 5–7 years’ experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven operational finance expertise, including cost accounting and inventory control
• Strong leadership and staff management capabilities
• Excellent Excel and ERP system proficiency
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across regions
